Safety, Security, and Occupational Health

The Safety, Security, and Occupational Health Committee (SS.HC) meets annually at WEFTEC® in October. 

The committee shall develop, recommend, and conduct programs to promote general understanding of safety, security and occupational health issues and shall aid in developing and implementing a program to improve the safety record in the water quality industry.

Specific Activities:

  1. Provide a forum for safety, security, and occupational health issues for Federation and Member Association members through webcasts, workshops, specialty conferences, and publications.
  2. Work with other Federation Committees to ensure that safety, security, and occupational health issues and concerns are properly addressed in all Federation programs.
  3. Provide technical assistance and serve as advisors to policy makers on safety, security, and occupational health issues.
  4. Develop and assist others in the development of safety, security, and occupational health educational materials and safety practices surveys.
