The Sustainability Community of Practice is composed of five subgroups, or task forces: Sustainable Utilities; Sustainable Watersheds, Industrial / Corporate Approaches, Stormwater and Green Infrastructure, and Energy Conservation and Climate Change.  The CoP takes a multi-disciplinary, collaborative approach to addressing a sustainable water environment.  They work with WEF’s standing committees and reach outside of WEF’s members to collaborate with other organizations working on the global challenge of sustainability.  The CoP and its task forces are engaged with coordinating sustainability activities within WEF, developing products and services where needed, and managing WEF’s Sustainability Specialty Conference every 18 months.
