The WEF Watershed Management Committee recommends, develops, and conducts activities to advance the understanding and use of watershed management to more effectively preserve and enhance the global water environment. The volunteer members of the Committee:

1. Develop workshops and moderate technical sessions each year at WEFTEC®;
2. Sponsor the biannual specialty conference Watershed and TMDL Science;
3. Author articles for WEF's technical journals;
4. Serve on the Editorial Advisory Committee of WEF's Watershed and Wet Weather Technical Bulletin; and
5. Provide comments to WEF Government Affairs on Federation Position Statements and U.S. government regulations and policies.
