WEFMAX is unlike any other meeting providing the members of the House of Delegates, MA Leaders, and WEF Staff an opportunity to meet, discuss challenges, and share successes.


Meet WEF Vice President Jeanette Brown, WEF House of Delegates Speaker Tom Helgeson, New York WEA President Robert J Kukenberger, New York WEA President-Elect Bruce Munn, and New York WEA Delegates Bob Adamski and Janice Jijina at this meeting.  Please take a moment to get to know your WEF Leadership and the New York WEA Leadership prior to attending.

Registration is complimentary for all attendees.  The meeting schedule and information on hotel accommodations, airport transfers and points of interest are provided below.

The NYWEA has blocked a limited number of hotel rooms at the New Yorker Hotel with a special rate per night of $209 single/double occupancy | $234 Triple occupancy.  Please call the hotel between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm to make your hotel reservation. This is a smoke free hotel.

This rate is only available until 4:00 pm local time on Monday, February 9, 2009.  Attendees are responsible for making their own reservations by contacting the hotel directly.  When making a reservation, please advise the hotel you are attending the "Water Environment Federation MAX Meeting Room Block...or CODE CGWEFM".

All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card.  In order to avoid a cancellation fee of one night room and tax for an individual reservation, the hotel must receive notificaiton of cancellation no later than 4 pm, three days prior to the arrival date of that reservation.  Credit identificaiton will be required from each individual at Check-In, in order that these charges may be billed to the individual's account.  All rates are subject to state and local taxes currently at 13.375% Hotel Sales Tax, a $2.00 per room per night Occupancy Tax, and a $1.50 per room per night Javits Expansion Tax.  Check-In time is 3:00 pm | Check-Out time is 12:00 pm.

Early Departure Fee:
In the event a guest (who has reserved a room within the room block) checks out prior to the guest's reserved checkout date, the guest must cancel their room by noon of their departure day in order to avoid paying for that day.  Guest should advise the hotel at or before Check-In of any changes in the scheduled length of stay.

Box Delivery and Storage:
Guest will be assessed a $5.00 + 8.375% New York State Sales tax per box for each package handled by the hotel.  Any boxes received five business days prior to event will be charged a $5.00 New York State Sales Tax storage fee per day.

Parking: Valet Parking Offered at a fee of $35 car / $45 Min Van USD overnight.
